A New Type of Internet Company?
Jason Goldberg, March 30, 2005
- From day 1, we built to meet customer needs, not technology for technology sake
- We designed the jobster service with input from more than 100 end users, involving them in development and design for many months before a single line of code was written, and then through several phases of alpha and beta testing.
- We focused on proof before hype...launching the service with 40+ customers using the service today, vs. just launching based on an idea.
- We put customers before company. They do well, we do well. Their delight is our passion.
- We have no pretense that we'll be widely successful from day 1...we're in it for the long term. Feedback, iteration, delight. Feedback, iteration, delight. Feedback, iteration, delight. Feedback, iteration, delight. etc.
- We're not trying to be the be all end all. We're not trying to displace, rather to enhance and improve and show incremental value. We're another tool in the toolkit. Hopefully an increasingly very valuable tool for our customers and partners over time.
I'm one of the people you describe as being both extremely happy and busy in my job - no real interest at this stage to go looking elswhere.
However I'm a little confused as to who exactly would be referring me for a job available from within your site?
How exactly does one go about being put forward?
