Jobster Inc. is pleased to announce that is has acquired WorkZoo, one of the leading vertical job search providers and an important innovator in the job search space. On behalf of the entire Jobster family, I'm thrilled to welcome Mark Maunder and Kerry Boyte to Jobster.
Our goal at Jobster is to power a new and more efficient system for online recruiting; one that enables employers to proactively reach the right person with the right job at the right time through a variety of highly targeted channels while also empowering qualified job seekers to stand out from the pack and get hired. Jobster will integrate WorkZoo into its targeted advertising services for employers as well as into its consumer platform for job seekers. More details to come ... stay tuned :)
The press release can be found here.

Jobster. I first spoke with Jobster in March and was impressed by their business model....The beauty of Jobster is that it turbo-charges one of the top ways people find jobs – referrals. One sure way to make sure that you get an interview is to have someone walk your resume (OK, it’s really done via email) to the hiring manager. While I don’t expect Jobster to beat the job boards in terms of quantity of jobs or number of job seekers, I do expect that candidate quality and the candidate experience will be extremely high.
